This porno death/grind band is from the United Kingdom, the birthplace of Napalm Death and Sore Throat, so to a certain extent you know what to expect from this CD. The most extreme and thankfully uncouth music you could possibly hear. Nothing especially groundbreaking here, but Malignant Germ Infestation make up for it with brutality and dedication to bring something truly vile to the table, complete with resourceful guitar riffing, breakneck velocity and horrid lead vocals. Although I usually prefer hearing a drummer instead of programming (drum programming strikes me as thin and not complementing the music too well), the percussion carries the music along nicely and there are many tempo changes to add flavor to the material. The production is also dark and menacing with little other effects added besides the aforementioned programming. The cover artwork is quite graphic and fits the band name and the tracks within appropriately. This is right up the alley for fans of this subgenre of metal. The album also closes with their own rendition Cannibal Corpse, a little something extra for your effort to locate the band on the net and order this album
